Thanks for getting this story out.Its getting to the breaking point with the increase of Police Brutality and getting away with it...The Police need to be trained in Harm Reduction,to not only rely on Violence(cause violence only begets more violence) but come from a place of compassion.Time for a overhaul of the way the Police Conduct themselve's.
good video, this is a topic that is coming up alot in vancouver (we recently posted a video with similar testimonies). with spring sweeps around the corner are 2010 to look forward to to can't see this issue subsiding in the near future. not sure what it is like there, but in van the police have velcro badges (name and number) on their uniform which seem to be absent on many of the officers making it increasingly difficult to identify or consider making a complaint against those who abuse their power.
here people really don't care you can complain all you want but for instance people are scared to complain cause people have been beaten by the same cops that they complain about only 1 guy actually went thrtough with any kind of a law suit and they settled out of court and we get out sweeps mostly in the summer but here they have the bikes go around kinda like creep out of alley ways and radio to the van that kinda hids around the courner, so yeah we get beat to how is it in vancouver i havent been there in like 4 years
