We are all humans everybody needs someone in there life to help us through everyday journeys and show us we mean something.People look at the homeless as lazy and unwilling but this is not true. There is a story behind each homeless person and before judging think before criticizing them. For you never know when it could happen to you its like having a job and you feel like it is secure but find out after so may years its all over company closing its doors bankruptcy etc. If you have any comments on my blog please feel free to respond all are welcome. Thank-you...

Hi Angel

How are you? people are sometimes very quick to judge others and that`s a shame.

Sometime those people just don`t realise that this can happen to them.

They beleive because they have a job or a place to live that they are immune to this kind of situations.

It`s the same basically when people say that everyone on welfare is lazy and no good for nothing.

They don`t think that they could end up on welfare or on the street themselves one day.

These people should just think before they open their mouth and start judging others, you can have the best job possible and loose it or you may think that you are safe having a place to live but circumstances can force you right out on the street and that`s the facts of life.

I myself, as an example maybe forced to make a decision to either moved out of a place I find to be unbearable to live in at times and find a place I am going to feel safe to live in or end up on the street at the end of this month.

I am an activist for the rights of the homeless people, I have been doing this for about 8 years in Calgary and elswhere in Alberta and across Canada as well and more recently (about a year and three months ago I launched a new coalition against poverty at the national level in Calgary, I am now in Laval Qc. and trying to do some good work for our brothers & sisters here, so I know a bit about how homeless people are treated sometimes.

In solidarity

Thank-you Daniel for your reply

I agree with you 100 percent some people are darn right ignorant and they need awake up call. One day the tables could turn on them and then what they won;t be so high and mighty RIGHT... So keep in touch if you can right now I am going through a rough time myself so I understand all quite clearly ...

thank-you again...

Hi Angel.

I hope things will get better for you soon, as far as I am concerned, I will try to keep thinking positively and perhaps things will get better and I will find a place where I can have some peace at the end of the month.

I have some people here who work as intervenant for the homeless and who are supporters of my own efforts to address the homeless issue who are trying to help me with this, so I have this in mind and as I said maybe things will turn around for me, at least I hope.

Take care for now and if you want to contact me for anything, here`s an e-mail address you can use for that, this is the e=mail address for the coalition I am heading, ncap01@gmail.com
