Rip Shenanigans

shenanigans 1It took me a while to acctually get around to coping with this. Last Saturday my dog Shenanigans was struck by a car and killed.
It's amazing how quickly your life can change, one little slip up... I miss my dog very much, sadly there is nothing I can do to bring her back. She was a great dog loved by everyone she knew, and I like to think her last few days were some of the best she had. Settled in a new place, new friend to play with tirelessly.
My only advice, Dog owners, treasure the time you have with your furry friends, because accidents can happen.

sorry about your loss. i have a dog and don't know what i would do if something happened to her, so i will take your advice and cherish every moment. hope you have some good support around you to help you through this tough time.
I know I've already said this to you Rich, but you know I loved that dog. It came as a total shock to hear about this, and I instantly wished I was MTL. I hope you ad doing better. RIP Shenanigans. Nobody understood you dog, but we all loved you.

I had a dog also for over 16 years ..she been everywhere with me and she die 2 month ago

rich, although i only met shenanigans a few times, i totally understand losing a pet. although im lucky to have four amazing cats, and a beautiful dingo dog right now, time goes by faster than any of us actually want it to, whether youre having a shit ass time, or loving every minute. i cant imagine a day without dora protecting me against crackheads. you know youre always welcome to come play in the park with us. we're still at the same building, number 112. see you soon.

Thanks to everyone for the words of encouragement, I finally "Got over it" although I guess you never really do, but I got some side projects that are keeping me occupied and I even have a trip set up for next month, so I guess im allright.

OMG!!! This has hit me kinda hard. I loved that dog. I still tell all my friends about how great she is. Man, I hope you're doin' alright.
