The reason that the people of Victoria should support
safe injection sites is because it reduces the risk of disease and it also stops people from congregating in the alleys where they are subject to harrassment by the VPD {vicious pack of dogs)
we are seeing that the rate of addiction is very high and we need to help our brothers in their time of struggle.We can offer them support by helping them get to high safely without feeling subjected to harrasment by using.
In Vancouver we see that the safe injection sites are providing support to the struggling addict and giving them a place of feeling that they have a place that they can use safely.This is why we need to push for a safe injection site in Victoria so we can prevent deaths by overdosing and not burdening the people who claim that drug addiction is costing them x amount of dollars.
