A bit of an update as I've been away a while.

I returned to the squat yesterday to find that the buildings on the property are to be demolished in order to make way for more... you guesed it... overpriced fucking condos or townhomes. We're hoping it will at least last the winter.

The good news is I ran into some of the employees of the company in charge of the demolition and they don't seem to care much if we sleep there, the owner of the property however, we're not so sure of.

I guess it's time to start looking for a new place eh. It's allways the same no matter where ya squat, make way for capital gain.

ok, good news, we're still in the same squat. the contractors have cut the water and power to every building on the property.... except this one. i gotta say... Thanx guys!

we intend to be here untill we're told to fuck off. and when we're told.... we'll stay one more night!

if yer in the parkdale area, i invite you to come on down and spend a night in the "PUNKSQUAT" it's open to all who need a dry place to sleep.

I guess it's allways gonna be the same old story, no one likes a bunch of guys who are just trying to survive. The punksquat is busted.

The owners showed up this morning to board up the doors. I intend to try and get back in but barring that, we'll try to get a new one I guess.
