How to setup electricity-if you live in a tent (insulate it) or shack.

I live in a tent now. I got it insulated with shredded paper that was bagged in a dumpster. I made big giant pockets out of that plastic foil emergency blankets that I got for a buck each at the "dollar junkie"...dollar ramma...lol...any who, I filled each pocket with the shredded paper. To make the pockets you will need glue. I used this stuff in a yellow tube, contact cement. When the glue has dried start filling it with paper and then glue the top seam over so that its like one big pillow. When you have all the pockets made, duct tape them onto the walls of the tent and the floor and ceiling. When you have the pockets taped good to the tent, go around the tent with duct tape to each pocket in one long strip of tape. make little cuts into the strip of tape so that the paper can breathe. This will allow it to stay dry and allow the air flow and your body heat will heat the tent up. DON'T USE OPEN FLAMES IN THIS TENT! Let your body heat do the heating. This will make it comfortable for sleeping if you don't have a sleeping bag.

I got a car battery, a solar panel and a 75 watt power inverter. Hook them together by matching the positive wire with the positive on the battery. The negative wires onto the negative of the battery. Make sure you keep the battery and inverter inside the tent. Put the solar panel outside the tent during the day, this is the charger for the battery. I use this power pack for using my acer netbook, an indoor energy saver light bulb in a lamp. I'm lucky to have a few homes near by where I am setup too and access to a few wireless networks for the internet. At least now I don't have to worry about the rain...tgft and the flu shot. Whats great about the pockets I made, it also blocks the light from getting out so people cant see. I'm well tucked in for now.
