HN News Special Report - Olympic Torch Sent Packing on DTES

Day 1 - The torch made it's way to the Vancouver's DTES and was rerouted by a large rally held at Victory Square on Hastings street. After a 20 minute standoff, the powers that be, decided to route the torch and all of the corporate Coke trucks up a side street.

Excellent video. The truth is getting out to the outside world. Canada's popularity is dropping on the world scale. I hope to see a lot more of the the street reports. There is very little of the truth getting out from the main stream media. Right now there is a lot of the brothers and sisters showing up on our streets that have come from Van. A few want to be here but most just wanna go ack to their home turf. I will be watching the site as my usually routine. I hope to get some of Vic action up on the site soon. I know right now I will be in Van on Monday or Tuesday for the tent city. So keep the cameras rollin the world is listenin way more then Campbell or harper are.

Hey Guys good job on this one. It is good to show what a city is really like. Tent city was a great plan. As for the olympics it came and some of us got into it and others protested against it.
