Cooperative Accommodation is the only way we can survive the oncoming changes until the End of these Times.

The Feasibility and Accommodations in the near future seems to be augmented and realistically appraised in the philosophy of a cooperative arrangement. One can hardly believe much less understand when housing and accommodations are required in the Canmore area that a break even venture like the Wapiti Tents is cancelled, brushed aside with a stroke of a bureaucratic pen and admonished some publicity oriented disapproval. It is the people who come to work in an employment rich province like Alberta and a high unemployment area(s) like Ontario, Quebec and the rest of the Maritimes. Most of these souls are hardworking, service industry valued employees and the unwanted jobs by the locals who quite frankly thumb their nose at them.

One can only imagine 'why' these apolitical steps were taken and sold to a business consortium... one can speculate since the Town Of Canmore has yet to respond to the Sunday Save-The-Wapiti-Tents Campaign waged by one James Louden and his band of loyal supporters. Instead of punishing those of us realise the value of a cooperative spirit, we should be revered and recognised for the ingenuity of what is awaiting us in the very near future. The Town Council of Canmore has severely underestimated the economic crunch, that we are currently in and the indifference of social realities where one cannot even get a reasonably priced lot without paying through the pocketbook and the lack of basic conveniences. All one has to do is look at the new Wapiti Tents to see no shower facilities, or even welcoming places to set down and camp safely. We all suffer when a community is systematically eliminated, everyone feels the repercussions and loss of valued SERVICE INDUSTRY PERSONEL. One has to finally admit that the Town Council has lost their grip on social, economic and statistical realities and this town has to wake up and vote them out for severe incompetence. A call for action is inevitable but one must realise the plan begins with approaching the K-Country Camping Organisation with a business proposal. One must articulate the benefits of James Louden and his organisation to successfully submit a bid and take it over. It is vitally essential to get the K-Country Camping Organisation as an ally and then go after the Town of Canmore Municipal Government incompetency. It is very clear that K-Country cannot run it as they do their other Camps, Wapiti Tents is a small community consortium geared towards the Service Industry Personel who must budget themselves in a $300.00-500.00/month for shelter. The reality is that maybe even a partnership where James Louden can demonstrate that a larger consortium cannot bring a useful alternative can be undertaken and successfully run as a break even Accommodation Institution. Revolution is the only option when Privatisation and Bureaucratic Measures are instituted, it is the struggle that can maintained together.
