10 years for men who killed Michel Fortier
From the Montreal Gazette website:
Two Montreal men were sentenced Thursday to 10 years in jail for killing a homeless man nearly two years ago. In November, 2007, Châteauguay residents Daniel Hébert, 25, and Matthew McGrath, 27, spotted Michel Fortier, 50, sleeping in a parking lot on Bleury St. They suspected him of stealing their backpack. The two men assaulted Fortier repeatedly. He was taken to a hospital, where he stayed in a coma for several days before he died. It turns out the backpack did belong to Fortier, but was identical to the one owned by Hébert and McGrath. The two men pleaded guilty to manslaughter.

A moment of silence for our brother Michel
fuckin news people got there fack wrong the backpack in question did belong to stubs and goddam and the guys fanaly pulled the plug cuz the guy was in a coma and had aids not cuz he was beatin
When you murder someone or cause them to die you must pay the price, if it was your friend in the dead mans position you'd want justice. Now for all you violent moe foes out there who like to beat first ask questions later, if you dont want to be punished THINK BEFOR YOU ARE VIOLENT, VIOLENCE CAN CAUSE SEVERE INJURY OR POSSIBLE DEATH. A goddambed backpack is not worth a human life. And to pollsmoker it is not right to speak ill of the dead. He was in a coma cause he was beaten, smaty pants, and as for having aids who cares Aids is no longer a death sentence if he even has Aids I believe your full of it. Just like the jokers who were friends with Harley's murderer and come on here to put her down and speak ill of her.
