Why Deny the Obvious Child?

Here's an amazing video that's going around the Internet. A 13-year girl addresses the UN about 20 years ago and gives one of the most profound speeched I've ever heard. Her words are moving, wise, urgent, and uncompromising. She and her friends raised the money they needed to attend a major summit and lobbied to have an opportunity to address the delegates.

It's a really wonderful speech.

The only sad part is that 20 years later, we know that nobody listened.
