Hey DUNNYD welcome to the sight!!Ya i can relate to what your saying about Salt-Spring,I spent a bit of time at a squat near Fulford(I voluntarily slept at the beach squat in protest to the high cost of living on the Island.)the service's were strecthed to the limits and yes i also noticed high levels of Addiction.can you keep a stream of info coming(maybe document some of this for our members here.??)anyways what ever you can contribute,is greatly appreciated..cheers..JH

Hi Jh absolutely I can keep posted as whenthe summer arrives so does the numbers of people.And yes good point about services being stretched we are so stretched and of course their is still this belief system that Salt Spring cannot possibly have poverty and homelessness.

Just working here in the field and being in the down town eastside for tweleve years I see their is very little differance.
