So I think that you are very intelligent that you will figure out what to do. I will give some advise though. I think that you can talk to a neighbour about what is going on so that other people could look out for you and your daughters safety and well-being. There are good upstaniding citizens in this colonizinzed kountry.

you reach out to the phone, and teach your little daughter a good lesson in social justice, you call your local community centre, and ask to speak to someone on the local womans community society, then you learn when to call the police, and the cops will talk with the community worker, and the women will support her, and will be there for her, when the cops show up, and arrest his sorry self for battering his wife. Then she has options, and hopefully a place to go. And he will learn a hard lesson while he sucks it up in jail. justice for the victim that is too weak to fight for herself. I did exactly this to a similiar man, and when the cops came and took him away I went outside, and looked him right in the eyes and said yes it was me I called them. He did not look back and said nothing and I never saw him again. and the cops took her to a shelter. I gave her forty bucks and a big bag of oranges for her son. and I know it worked out for her as I saw her a couple of years later, and she thanked me for helping her. I wish I could have done more.

I encourage you to kick his ass with the community and the police behind you and with authority.
