Sweet that the site creators made this based on drupal open source software for the win. The theme is nicely done too. Mr web developer if you see this you should enable the contact mode and possible forums or advanced forums. Cheers.

Is it open source as in free download? I have tried messaging the webmaster with no reply, do tell, what do the advanced forums permit one to do?

Yes Drupal is a 100% free/libre open source GPL licensed CMS you can download it here. The advanced forum module I was mentioning is available for download here and is documented here.
