3 yrs on the streets living in the Taj Mahal of campsites in Calgary, and finally returned to the Westcoast to get straight . Entered recovery and developed a new life. I can't forget the struggle we all experience trying to survive and put our lives in order. Losing a lot of people on the journey screams loudly of the judge-mental attitudes we face on a daily basis. No government has the right to deny a human being the right to sleep or protection from the elements. Thanks to David Johnson for the courage and strength to fight a sick mentality by those more self-righteous than those who have been humbled by our challenges.
