I like my family, music, photography, shooting video and my dog Kinju. I have enjoyed the company of my fellow Carnegie members, volunteers and staff for the past twenty-three years. This place is like my second home. I have had the opportunity to grow in many ways in my time here. I was a political activist for nine years prior to going to Carnegie and the opportunity in Carnegie to furthur this type of work has been awesome. For information about my most recent job that I started in Carnegie in 1991 http://bharbara.tripod.com/ I like photographing just about anything that catches my eye. Being the volunteer photographer in Carnegie has given me an opportunity to refine the skill. I found myself in a situation where I began to capture Unidentified Flying Objects and Orbs in my photographs. I have been very involved in the Carnegie Music Program since it's inception in the Carnegie Program Committee in September, 1983 and I have been practicing in Carnegie's theatre since that time. Prior to the time I came to Carnegie I had spent a few years trying to learn how to play the drums. When I started singing songs that's where my focus went and it wasn't until years later that I picked up the drumsticks again.
