Contacting Me

This is not a poem. It is not fiction. This is not non-fiction. This is me, that is, Paul Francis Burnside, once of Ballymoney, County Antrim, Northern Ireland who emigrated to Edmonton Alberta way back in the 1970's by himself who has been back to Northern Ireland quite a few times during the intervening years, but who has also travelled a little bit e.g South East Asia 1990 and 1992 AND also bits of Mexico, Belize and Guatamala (1989). I also even hitched to Florida starting from Dawsan Creek the year Elvis and Keith Moon died. THERE ARE ALSO ALSO SEVERAL BURGS AND BALLYS AND JACKASSES IN BETWEEN a bit of voyagering (though not in shopping carts) AND SOME MORE THUMBING THROUGH SNOW FOG RAIN AND REALLY REPETATIVE CONVERSATION.Yeah, AN I know, I measure my years by rock songs and reference my place in time by stars! (and not the Mars and Venus kind)
I certainly know where I came from. And it was dark. Then I saw the light.Then there was a slap on the arse
And yes, recently, I have been a solitary traveller, that is, travel via the internet and travel via the swivel chair.SOMETIMES I FEEL I'VE GOT MORE WEAR AND TEAR ON THE SEAT OF MY ARSE ON THE SEAT IN THE CHAIR THAN ON THE SOLES OF MY SHOES.(SHITE, I FORGOT,I SOMETIMES WALK, QUITE ALOT) In other words, I haven't left Victoria that much recently .
Imagination, helps fiction, too.
But with this library strike another useful place of reference and information and place to write has been removed. Sorry, the library is a bit more than a place to sleep or keep dry or toilet occupy. Or place to drink beer! Strangely enough, it is a good place to write and read and think!
There are people who claim to represent me: they do not represent me.There are also people who claim to be contacts for me who will relay information to me.
Do not relay information to me via them for me.I repeat this. Do not relay information to me via them for me. The information will not get to me. They will - get to that information.And I will get no information or creativity to you.And I will receive nothing from you.
Some of these blogs are just that - blogs - not really thought out and not edited. It is the luck of the draw whether they work in any of the genre forms of fiction, poetry, dramatic dialogue, or - whatever!They are raw. Some not that good. Please do not relay any information based on them or in response to them as some may be part fictional (you know - poetic licence!).
It is not like I am living outside the law. It is not like I am living outside time and space. But I do have some creative product. I do live in the modern world. I would love a fair and equal opportunity to present it. What do I lack in life? Firstly, a safe place to write where I can safely store my writing and where I can work on it (you know - editing - I do beleive in editing! unlike god).
I don't even have a laptop (P.C)! and I know they are out there crying to come to me!... No, not like a dog...Not like a house trained child... No, not like an umbrella swinging (quick to call authories psuedo- Golden Girls Granny. No, I need a P.C, like a friend that does not live for me that stays with me keeps all information for me safely that cannot open up under GENTLE PERSUASION and does not easily spew out info like some T.V - info - diaretic which runs both from the mouth and the rear.
I am difficult to contact. I like it that way.
I am a writer, who again ( I must repeat this) who wants to be legitematly published. I am at some point going to need a safe internet site that I have sole and complete control of.
I am not a member of any specific group, whether it be political or non-political(psuedo-anarchist!)
So, anyway.
Next weeks Paddy's Day a day that got fame from filling American bars quicker than Jesus Christ could fill any church (even with free lunch and free bus tickets).
So please, don't you, also tell me, you're Irish!
