The Keep Anya COALITION.

Greetings fellow Homeless Nation users,
today Im here to discuss someone very near and dear to my heart.
whom I learned recently lost her job here at homeless nation,
Im talking about Anya.

Most of you have spoken with her,
I know I have, When I joined this site Anya was one of the first people to speak to me, make me feel welcome, even though Im not even within her like "Montreal" jurisdiction (I meant outreach by that)

Most of you know her as a friend,
she's stood by us when we needed her the most.
video documented our hardships to help express our thoughts and feelings as they happened,
gave us advice when our spirits were low,
laughed with us, cried with us...
slept beside us when we were all outside.
she's one of us.

someone we can relate to, and feel comfortable around.
and now because homeless nation is short on funds they've lost one of THE most important, amazing outreach workers out there.

and its so unfair,
because its only us who are the ones that are going to end up suffering.

Anya has been there for a lot of people because she cares,
because it makes her happy to help people.
And even though she got let go here at homeless nation
she just came to a local drop-in centre to Toronto called Sketch
to inform everyone in a presentation about how great homeless nation is.

Anya talked about how as one person you can only do so much,
but if we stand together then we can get shit done.
and I think thats what we all should be doing.

I know that Anya is a very important figure to not just homeless nation but to all of us,
and I think that now we should all pull together and express our thoughts and feelings about Anya getting let go.

Its not fair,and we have to stand up and push back.

I ask you all,
After being pushed by our families, police, and all the other things we have to deal with as a homeless community...
and the one thing we have the brags about being for the homeless by the homeless .. lets go of one of our own...
what do we do to stop it?

When do we draw the line, and say thats just not right.

Well I have,
Homeless nation users, friends, allies
please step up and express your feelings about Anya's situation
because Its just not right,
and one person can only do so much.

United we stand, Divided we fall.
