Victoria's Election Results

Well the elections for BC municipal elections are over now.For victoria the incumbents got in with a additional three new faces added to the roster. Although there was a lot of debates on social issues such as the homeless court case, the closure of the needle exchange and the crashing of the stock market; victorians still voted in the same people who created the crisis in the first place.Then had the people who could have helped make difference arrested, in eligible to vote and whose names were accidentally missed at all candidates meeting. All these people just happened to be unhoused or poor. Our new, but not so new mayor's solution to helping the homeless is to hire more police officers, keep the homeless living in fear and running the judicial gauntlet by charging for being homeless. Tell the homeless that there tents will not be touched and then have them charged 5 hours later for not having their tents taken down. Then have a slate that really was not a slate in his eyes that would ensure that he got in. mean while the homeless where being denied the right to cast their ballots because they didn't have the corrected forum to cast their for the man who is did nothing to support the relocation of their only emergency shelter. So It appears history will not only repeat its self but it will be getting a little more worse.
