I am a torontonian overseas at the momment. Formerly worked for greenpeace in NZ and england. Then hung up my badge and handcuffs and Have been living in holland in various squats. Most of my time i lived in fort pannerden www.fortpannerden.nl which is also under threat by the city councel alone for no reason to be evicted. The biggest power you have over the police and the government is the people and the media. because of the media attention adn the personal contact with local villages and school tours of our lifestyle teh fort (formely an empty building for 40 years, has been the home of many ppl for 6 years. Intersted in living without the money system. We dumpstered everything and built everythign in it from disgarded material and the interior of the place is admired by many who come to visit. people from all over the world have come to our place to film documentries. I will forward this site the Kraak forum in Holland and perhaps there will be some support from the world famous anarchist scene! i currently live in slovenia and plan to build an earth ship with my husband on some abandoned land.
