About
At the moment I am on the Clean Up team at the Aboriginal Shelter located in Vancouver, BC. I feel that I can relate with the people for the walks of life I have transferred through, through-out my life. For, I was once a person living on the streets of Prince George, BC in my earlier portion of my life. I have also spent my time within the In-Care System of the province, I have had been in Juvenile Camp, Community Hours, Recieving/Group/Foster Homes, lived in Addictions with Alcohol/Drugs, Survived through many Losses of family in my life that almost had me to attempt to taking my own at times. So I can Honestly say that I have had my share of what I have had to work with to get where I stand today. Today I have a family, that I try to make choices/options alot better for them than what I made it through. I work with my Step Children on a daily basis, but am still not so great of a father to my own daughters. I always put a 100 percent into any form of work I get involved in and only do what I believe in. For today I am greatful that I got a awesome partner in life, for things have changed, I feel for the better of choices in my life. I feel that with her by myside, things can only get better, knowing each day that there is a tomorrow. If 200 hundred words could only include all the forms of help and guidance I have had along the way there is always so much more that we can always say about our lives when we look at what we have and are able to put it all into perspective, in order to make it all work out better along the way... One thing I have always stated though is "If you don't put any effort/work into what you want out of your choices in life, don't expect anything out of it. Nothing comes for free, we got to put some efforts into it along the way, in order to get a positive affect out of it." As an individual I am still learning along my path...
Welcome to the site! I see that you have a way with words and with your hands...
Hi there and welcome to homeless nation.
"If you don't put any effort/work into what you want out of your choices in life, don't expect anything out of it. Nothing comes for free, we got to put some efforts into it along the way, in order to get a positive affect out of it."
Yes. Faith without works won't get one far.
You have a powerful look. And words.
I'm glad to read them. Thanks.
