Hello, I am a 59 year old canadian born white male. I am a survivor of the streets, ex crack user, I am an advocate,and activist, for the homeless,aging,and better health care, just to mention a few,plus I advocate for the medical use of marijauna,also I am a valid holder of such certificate.I just recentley graduated from a leadership course on,anti discrimination,anti oppression, and human rights, which was taught by Ms.Anna Willats of G.B.College, and was taught at the P.a.r.c.Drop-in. Also Ms.Anna Willats was also voted Toronto's leading activist of 2006. In harmony with this course I, along with 3 of my fellow classmates,we went to York U. on Jan.18 2007. and delivered speeches on all types of oppression, followed up by a 2 hour question period, this was presentedto a classroom ofabout45 student's involved in social work studies.Because of this I have now been asked to speak atMcMaster.U. and other places. furtherlast year I became a working group advocate at the Field's Institute at the U.of T.in lifecourse and aging. This also engaged me to speak at C.A.M.H.1001 Queen St.W.Tor.on Oct.19.2006. There is much more, but I think that is enough for now.Thankyou. Robert.
