Still in Ottawa...

I have since escaped a few times from Ottawa. Briefly to Montreal for a week and to Toronto for a week as well. Heading back to Toronto very soon (*fingers crossed*) After that vacation away from my vacation I should be going to montreal. I have a place now...very weird///Oh well I want to head out east this summer so I will hopefully see all you guys out east this year. Anyways I must go and tend to matters in this part of the globe. Happy travels everyone hope I see everyone soon.
I don't know why but Ottawa seems to have that effect on people for some reason everyone I know that comes accross always seems to end up staying in Ottawa or getting stuck in Ottawa. Why is that?

Sorry it happened the way it did Sarah. It sucks and I didn't even want it to happen like that but the fact is it wasn't being taken care of and I wasn't the only one who felt this way. So uhh sorry life sucks and then you don't but please don't take to slander, I didn't.
Some people stay in Ottawa just because it is pretty much just easier that way a lot of people stay because they have a family or they are from here...there is no explaining to vortex that is Ottawa really because everyone has their own reasons for staying. It's fun to visit (sometimes) but after a week it kinda gets stale.
This is for the Homeless and almost homeless that are on welfare and youths in Ottawa. KAT i sympathise with you having problems in Ottawa and wanting to run away but don't it's not the answer somepeople must live with change in thier life and things that happen good or bad.
Toronto is not much better in fact it's worse 2 years i got slashed saving a girl your age in a park in the village where most of you kids end up hanging either there or Young and Queen area. and please if you do stay away from the Green on Young...it's nothing but government loyalists running the place...the same people that put us on the streets.

toronto is prolly my least favourite city across canada... and although ottawa is a close second, id rather be there than where i am now. it was good to see you at hutchison apartments a couple months ago. i was in montreal last week, but didn't see you. keep in touch so i know where you are next time. aha.

anyway - yea I dunno about Ottawa - maybe because its terrifically easy to be homeless here? I know for myself I stayed because I fell in love with the city itself - it's a very pretty city....I have no family in Ottawa, nor am I from here.....but I will be here 3 yrs in Feb and I've never ever once gone travelling.
But you're right....Ottawa is a vortex. People talk about leaving and X amount of weeks later (like Harlem- LOL) they're still here.
But anyway. I MISS YOU. get back here. did you know the rat died like back in the summer? *shrug* meh.
