Street Talk Goes Broke
CALGARY
Sad to hear that the Street Talk newspaper has issued its final edition. The community newspaper helped tell the story of homelessness and poverty in Calgary while helping people earn a few dollars, learn new skills and participate in our media society.
The newspaper has been a valued part of the community for over 15 years. The CUPS Health and Education Centre's publication has simply become too expensive to produce.
