I have been plaged with a comming and going pain sorta below my rib cage on the left side for like many years. I was poking around and there seems to be a dime size lump.......Is this strange. I don't do doctors unless im ding first so.......Im not dead, lol. Just weird any thoughts on what this weirdness could be?
As your title says - Health MATTERS.
Go to a hospital, or a clinic, or whatever you feel most comfortable with. They are the only ones who can tell you what the 'weirdness' could be.
Remember - pretty much everyone who has had a serious medical issue of some sort at first thought that it couldn't happen to them.
It may be something, and it may be nothing. But you need to find out. Delaying won't make it magically go away. The sooner you get to a doctor, the better the chances that it won't be anything too serious.
Find out what it is - now - for your kid, and for yourself.

Could be nothing.
Might be something.
Best to get it checked out by a professional. That way, we'll all feel better :)
