I am of the women who run with the wolves
My heart still wild and untamed
I hear there haunting melody
And it stirs something in me
Something civilization has killed in most
But I will never let die
It awakens something within my soul and arouses a feeling...
Like excitement heat freedom wild carnal instincts I refuse to let die
I want to run
Free and fast feeling the wind as I breath its cool breath
Inside me... The smell of the trees the grass the morning dew
The earth under my feet alive thud thud thud
My feet beat to the tune of my heartbeat
My pup forever at my side
I feel the lure of the land
Long for the thrill of the hunt
The freedom and passion that only the earth mother can give
Bounty unending in her embrace
No longer held by human chains
I cast them off for what is right and true
For I am of the women who run with the wolves
And I have found myself once again
In my minds eye I can see ya' now.
