Tell 'em they can sleep out down here in the temperate zone if their too cold there.
'Cept here if their on the streets of Memphis watch out for the crack monsters. At least the police will just run you in or off their beat. With the monsters it could get way worse..

But.
Fear isn't the way to live. You do need to be aware of the crack problem here though. Most are probably getting higher from the rat poison in it than what smidgeon of coke may be in it.

I bought a Mountain Hardware -15degree bag years ago. I'd sleep out for the coziness of it for years.
Too bad street people up there might not have a really good bag.
But you know, J, we should help and try to fix folks up best we can, but for some folks, some times, and this was a really hard lesson for me to learn, for some folks, you just got to live and let die.

You know what I mean?
Still, best thing is to try to help till you just can't help anymore. I always felt guilty doing less.
