Vancouver is Host City to the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Recently published estimates place the total cost of the Games at $6 billion, yet thousands remain homeless in the Metro Vancouver region despite social legacy promises made in the bid book that won the Host City competition in 2003.
