I see no one has been able to answer your post. I do not know anything about this hostel either, sorry. But if your looking for a good hostel in van. there is one called Ivy House (or at least it used to be) it is kitty corner to the CN train and bus station. The building has ivy all over the side and it is next door to The Colbalt if you are looking for it. I've stayed there a number of times and it has been good each time. WELCOME!
