what will the people think?
The recent judges decision to allow homeless people to construct shelter in parks has sent the city of Victoria and its civil servants into a fit. The politicians, always the ones to cover the collective asses of all the government agencies, wasted no time, but more resources to construct a new bylaw. A bylaw made by councilors is not worth a law written by parliamentarians, and that being a given, the city must be embarrassed. at least the city should have the wisdom that spending another dollar on fighting the homeless is a waste of taxpayer money and the cities time as well. if the civil servants fail to recognize their collective failure and continued enforcement of new laws made especially in reaction to a judges decision is at least contempt towards the judge and sanctimonious as well. thank the lord for handing out morality to the homeless. I find that the homeless have more than the whole city system.
