I'm sad.

I'm sad.

-

I'm sad and tired. I have not slept for 2 and a half days. I've
existed in freedom today and the world has had its freedom taken away
not long after that. People are pretending the city government is not
the horror that it is while allowing their lazy selves to believe all
the capitalist NAZI shit about the encroachment of downtown into
people's suburban lives. YOU DON'T OWN THE LAND... ya ya, most of you
already are not too far away from that truth... yet you are still away
from it. I am seething and reminding myself of patience.

As long as this 7:00 AM rule is in place there is no success from the
Charter Challenge. Just a fucking joke.

see you at the library courtyard, where I presume I will return to
holding vigil under the 'Crown' prosecutor's office (during their
hours).

I'm sad too! I'm sad because the government has once again side-stepped the law. I'm sad that thousands of people (Yes! Human Beings!) have nowhere to sleep in a society that claims to be over flowing with wealth. I'm sad that $300 million of the tax payers' money was just spent on an election that maintain the status quote in Federal politics. I'm sad that billions of dollars is being spent to sell developers' stuff during 2 week of sports for TV while social housing continues to be denied to people who are equal according to the constitution.

I'm glad that you and others continue to stand up for the right to sleep despite the fact that the government and society are willing to deny that people need to have a place to sleep. I'm glad that a judge agrees with that at least.

thank you,

Richard
